I decided to buy some glow in the dark fimo to experiment with. Still fitting with a flower theme I decided to make a flower that would open as it grew darker. This is the opposite of how flowers should react as flowers usually open in sunlight. However as I want to do something that reacts to light/dark, I thought it would be a good idea. I decided to experiment with stop motion and first made a video in the daylight to get used to it as I hadn't really tried it before.
As I don't have photoshop on my laptop I have to use a trial software for the moment however I will use photoshop to produce my final outcome if I decide to use stop motion.
I then decided to try and experiment with a flower that would grow brighter as it gets darker. This was harder to produce so I decided to photograph it in my bedroom and close the curtains a little bit everytime I moved the flower to open slightly. The finished effect doesn't look professional or very good however I think it portrays the outcome that I was trying to achieve, quite well.
Both videos are really quick however this is because on the trial software I can't slow them down, however using photoshop I will be able to slow down videos if I choose this method for my final outcome.
