LED Galaxy Dress

This is the LED Galaxy Dress, exhibited in Chicago's Museum of Science & Industry, it has 24,000 LEDs and 4,000 hand-applied Swarkovski crystals, making the dress glitter aswell as glow. It has embedded circuitry and has iPod batteries charging some of the LEDs, meaning that the dress can only glow for an hour. This means that the wearer could be walking round in light and then be suddenly invisible in the darkness. I think this links really well to my idea of something that glows in the dark or is lit up in the dark.
